Well some developers are showing screenshots of a « Take a Picture » button from the Contact iPad application in the simulator. So.. *hopefully* we’ll see at least a front camera soon !

Most 1st generation Apple products lack some very important features. My first generation G4 iBook was nothing compared to the following one. I think Apple tries to minimize some extra features as much as possible to have their products not look like some other gadgets with 1000 cardreader slots and stuff.

I think we can hope for cameras in the iPad 2.0 and your augmented realty argument is a really good one for them.

Alors pour mettre OSX la dessus, je ne pense pas… Le matériel est bien spécifique.
Mais un petit jailbreak est toujours bon à prendre (custo, tweaks, etc…)

J’approuve à 100% ! Points faibles : l’OS iPhone, pas de multitask, l’écran pas adapté aux ebooks, pas de port usb, ni de lecteur de carte SD (ah si, mais payant, et externe…) pas de webcam, pas de finder, le « prix » de la 3G qui est hallucinant, etc.
Points forts: plus puissant qu’un iPhone, et le dock avec le clavier, vraiment ça a de la gueule.

Mais bon, une fois jailbreaké, si on peut mettre OSX, ça change tout
